{"id":2149,"date":"2024-02-25T20:37:34","date_gmt":"2024-02-25T17:07:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\/?p=2149"},"modified":"2024-03-04T13:06:25","modified_gmt":"2024-03-04T09:36:25","slug":"what-is-comprehensive-website-seo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\/what-is-comprehensive-website-seo\/","title":{"rendered":"What is comprehensive website SEO?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During more than a decade of continuous professional activity in the field of SEO, I have always tried to fight the notion that SEO is just a gimmick.\u00a0While gimmicks may get you ranked quickly, they usually don&#8217;t work in the long run and may even backfire.\u00a0Consistently ranking well in Google requires a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\">comprehensive website SEO<\/a>\u00a0strategy that focuses on every aspect of your website.\u00a0Technical aspects, user experience, content of your website and security of your website should be organized and optimized.\u00a0Therefore, to maintain a good ranking in Google, you need to\u00a0develop a comprehensive approach to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\/what-is-seo\/\">SEO<\/a> .<\/p>\n<h2>Comprehensive SEO<\/h2>\n<p>Comprehensive <a href=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\/basic-concepts-of-seo-website\/\">SEO<\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\/product\/digital-marketing\/seo-services\/\">Search Engine Optimization<\/a>) refers to improving all important aspects of a website to increase its ranking in search engines.\u00a0The ultimate goal is to create a website that meets the needs of its users not only by providing the right information at the right time, but also by being easy and safe to use.\u00a0To achieve this goal, meet at all levels.\u00a0Website owners should constantly work on the following aspects of their site:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good technical SEO;<\/li>\n<li>Writing quality and structured content;<\/li>\n<li>A great user experience;<\/li>\n<li>keep the website secure;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is the reason for comprehensive website SEO approach?<\/h2>\n<p>Google&#8217;s mission is to build the perfect search engine that helps people find what they&#8217;re looking for, which is why building your website and marketing strategy around that goal is a viable and effective solution.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s use an analogy to explain the holistic approach to SEO.\u00a0Think of working on your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/en\/product\/advertising-campaign-design\/seo-campaign\/\">site&#8217;s SEO<\/a>\u00a0like taking a ship to a shipbuilding race, where the judges are Google and other search engines.\u00a0A website is like a big ship and has many moving parts that need to be managed.\u00a0Your design is the exterior of the ship, your content is the interior and services, and your technical setup is the engine.\u00a0The goal here is to get the judges to rate you highly and recommend you to people.<\/p>\n<p>The competition is very tight and crowded, so to get a good rank, you need not only a beautiful ship and a fast and reliable engine, but also a good interior and high quality interior service.\u00a0If you have a beautiful ship (eye-catching design) but the interior (content) is inadequate or lacking, people are less likely to be on that ship.\u00a0On the other hand, if you have an amazing interior and service, but your ship is slow and your engine is prone to problems (technical settings), people will look for other alternatives.<\/p>\n<p>As you can imagine, the reviewers (search engines) give a high ranking to ships (websites) that meet and exceed the standards listed above.\u00a0Their mission and reputation depend on giving good advice, so they take this very seriously.\u00a0This is why using &#8220;tricks&#8221; to make it look like you&#8217;ve improved your ship won&#8217;t work, because you haven&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>By working on improving each part of the ship, your ship will improve over time.\u00a0At the same time, you&#8217;re not the only ship trying to get better, others are doing the same.\u00a0In a very intense and crowded competition, every small achievement and improvement will be significant.\u00a0By doing this, you may rank higher in the competition and become a recommendation.<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2053 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/seo-blog-back-001.webp\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 352px) 100vw, 352px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dgding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/seo-blog-back-001.webp 352w, https:\/\/dgding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/seo-blog-back-001-300x274.webp 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"352\" height=\"321\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2>Are SEO tricks a thing of the past?<\/h2>\n<p>In the early days of SEO, people could get away with doing tricks.\u00a0They put keywords and internal links on pages, write short and irrelevant content or copy content from other sites and rank with that content.\u00a0These are things of the past.\u00a0Since then, Google and other search engines have improved their algorithms every day and no longer fall for such tricks.<\/p>\n<p>While Google has changed their algorithm several times, most of my recommendations have remained the same since I started.\u00a0The advice is simple (doesn&#8217;t mean it&#8217;s easy!): you need to make sure your site is super good.\u00a0Having a website with quality content, a great user experience, and up-to-date security won&#8217;t instantly improve your rankings.\u00a0But in the long run, it will definitely have a positive impact on your site&#8217;s SEO!<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, great websites tend to get more back links from other websites and will also get more social media attention. Remember the earlier analogy about the ship?
